About Us
I am a home-based very small scale hobby breeder of handfed baby birds including cockatiels, greencheek conure mutations, quaker parrots and lineolated parakeets. I do occasionally have other babies of larger species and older birds available, so please email me or visit my BirdBreeders.com listing at :http://www.birdbreeders.com/breederavailability.aspx?b=2400 to check current availability.
I started breeding birds about 5 years ago with a pair of cockatiels. As a member of MO/KAN Cage Bird Club, I met a few local breeders who shared their love of birds and their experience with me as I acquired some of my much loved pet birds and breeder birds.
I find it very hard to part with my babies, having handfed most of them from the age of less than 2 weeks of age. In fact, some I have been unable to part with. One such sweet baby is Professor Elliott, a beautiful Eleanora Cockatoo, who is now nearly 3 years old and is a certified therapy bird with Pet Therapy of the Ozarks. We visit one of the Missouri Veterans Homes and a local nursing home. We have some devoted followers in those facilities who look forward to our monthly visits, especially to see what flight suit Professor Elliott will be wearing each visit.

Professor Elliott recently started sharing his Pet Therapy duties with Prince Albert, my sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Prince Albert & I visit Hulston Cancer Center in addition to alternating visits to the other facilities with Professor Elliott.
I also help with transport of rescued dogs who are being transferred from one rescue to another rescue, foster home or to their new forever homes.
